VIVA CUBA! is a fantastic musical journey through Cuba’s history in four acts: the Afro-Cuban roots; the Spanish shaped colonial life in 19th century; the thrilling, legendary night life in the 40’s and 50’s and the 1959 Revolution, until the present time on the island in the all-pervading Salsa passion.
Fifty outstanding dancers, singers and musicians; Cuban musical styles like Son, Pilon, Bolero, Mambo, Rumba, Cha Cha Cha and Salsa, besides Latin Jazz and Pop; five hundred spectacular and colourful costumes against a lavish hand-painted backdrop, all together, create a modern show full of passion, romance and sensuality.
Premiered in Havana in 2005, VIVA CUBA has been successfully performed at renowned stages of Europe, Asia and América.
